The start to some new sculpts

Here are some wip's of what I am working on now. A Bard and a couple of elf's. They need sanding, painting, hair and clothing.

ADA Halloween Ornament swap

Here is a pic of my Halloween Ornament for the swap at the ADA blog.

His eyes, teeth, the band on the hat, and the bow tie glow in the dark.

Hummingbird

This little guy has decided that this feeder in the back yard belongs to him. He is constantly running off 3 to 5 other Hummingbirds. He is a fast little guy.

Yard work

Got a chance to take a break from working on the house and do a little yard work. Getting to actually work in the yard is a lot of therapy for me.

Spring fever

It has been awhile since I have posted. I was in the middle of a large house remodeling project when my wife came out of remission for ovarian cancer and had to start doing treatments again. She is doing great and the treatments are working. But, my time has been limited to any sculpting. I am sorry for my absence.

We have been having a very warm winter here in north Alabama. It is making me have spring fever early. This past weekend I got the chance to take a break from the house and got to play in the yard a little, which is my passion. I have been sculpting on my back yard for a little over 17 years. If you see a rock in the pic's I have moved it least three times. Even though I designed lawn mowers for over 12 years, I still do not like to cut grass. I have eliminated it in my back yard. There are nothing but flower beds and moss covered walk ways. It is still a work in progress, but I thought I would show you some pic's of what I did this past weekend and some from last summer.

The first is the lower path near the house that is covered in mulch, I was able to remove that and in the second pic it shows it with moss plugged in.

This shows an upper level landing where I plugged some moss.

The rest of these photo's were from last summer.
